Hiding Behind The Couch

After running wild in the living room for a few seconds, the mountain lion was now acting all calm. Lauren had managed to scare the cougar for a fleeting moment but it looked as if the cougar wasn’t yet willing to leave the house. After a minute, the wild cat found itself a cozy place as it walked toward the couch only to hide behind it and lie down.

Safety First

Lauren went outside the living room along with her friend and they stayed outside for as much as 6 hours and the mountain lion kept sleeping in the meantime. They could still see the mountain lion through a window and they waited for the lion to wake up. “It was just a couple hours to dawn and we needed to prompt her to leave without alarming her so much that she panicked,” Lauren said.

Loving Gaze

While having a mountain lion sleeping on her couch when she headed home was the shock of her life already, but what surprised Lauren the most was when this cougar began staring at her with a gaze full of love. Taylor then blinked at her in a slow manner – which is a gesture in feline body language that means you pose no serious threat. “I gazed lovingly, then blinked hard and then she did it back,” Taylor said. “Then, she went back to sleep.”

Disney Princess

Lauren started to feel like one of those Disney Princess when she saw that a ferocious wild animal liked her company. But she didn’t let it go to her head as it was not a fairy tale and things are much different in reality. This wasn’t a pet animal, it was a wild carnivore who had grown up hunting prey and eating flesh in the woods. To get it out of the house would be best for everyone and Lauren was about to come up with an idea that would ease her trouble.

Scary Animal

Lauren might have liked the cougar’s company but it didn’t take away the fact that a wild prey hunting animal was in her house who was nothing less than a lethal predator. We humans don’t know much about animal instinct and the way they think and it wasn’t safe for Lauren and her friend to be present with a cougar under the same roof. The wild cat could get provoked and attack at any moment and it was the time when Lauren somehow came up with an awesome life-saving idea.

Brilliant Idea

Lauren caught the sight of a pot that was only a foot away from her. she slowly moved towards it as she didn’t want to scare off the cougar or give away any sort of sign that would prompt the mountain lion to attack her. It only takes a matter of seconds for a predator like the wild cat to take someone’s life. Keeping that in mind, she picked up the pot and began hitting it as hard as possible. You’ll be amazed to see how the wild cat reacted to this gesture of Lauren as things got a little out of control.
