In 1996, Pierce also tried his hand in the production by building his own production company called “Irish Dreamtime” in collaboration with his pal producer Beau St. Clair. The production house made its first movie in 1999, The Thomas Crown Affair with Pierce in the lead character. The movie was a success and was also appreciated by the critics. He did not use the double body to do his stunt, in fact, he did all of those action scenes on his own including that big boat crash scene. Not just that he went an extra mile and learned golf for a scene in which he hits a ball out of a sand trap. About eleven movies have been made under the production house till 2016. The whole burden of the production house fell on the shoulder of Pierce Brosnan when Beau St. Clair died at the age of 63.
