Brosnan has worked as a fire-eater. Pierce was only 16 years old when he left his school. He began to learn fire-eating from a fire-eater who used to teach people this skills. His fire eating skills got noticed by an agent who later on signed a three-year contract with him. After the completion of his tenure there, he finally enrolled himself in the Drama School London to learn acting and decided to pursue his career in acting only. He got the chance to flaunt his fire-eating skills in a 1982 episode of Remington Steele, titled High Flying Steele. He also got black blisters while shooting for an episode of The Muppets. According to him, the prop guy convinced him to use white gas instead of kerosene. He blew that up and the flame instead of going out entered his mouth that caused blisters.
