The Victorian Setting

The first owner of the house seemed to have had a Victorian taste as far as furniture and entrances go. The 1930s was the American Jazz age, the decor in houses was quite artsy but this owner had a more primitive liking.

The Victorian designs were highlighted by the use of ornate jewel tones and bold prints. The arches and pillars also made an important part of the aesthetics, as shown in the picture.
