The Changing Styles

The picture above shows that the interiors of the house were redecorated multiple times from the 1930s to the 70s. The bamboo chairs were an important symbol of the art deco movement in the 1930s. The liking for the Victorian style is shown by the curved ornate wood. The 50s and 60s were all about the colors and the brown in the picture was the preferred color for furniture in the 70s.
