“Don’t Do It”

People thought she was crazy, they shouted behind her “don’t do it” but she did not listen. The reason why people were discouraging her instead of supporting her, was because they knew how dangerous her step was. Ben was clearly astonished, he said, “This woman, it wasn’t even her own dog, she just started trotting out onto the ice and kind of falling through onto the water.” She jumped in the cold ice with all her clothes on and bare hands, in water that chill, there were high chances of her getting hyperthermia and since it was winters there were also afraid that the ice might start freezing around her and she too might be stranded or worse dead, with the dog. But none of these thoughts entered this woman’s mind. All she saw was that a life was in danger and it needed to be saved.
