Using Her Bare Hands

It was chilling and the woman had plunged into the water as an act of impulse, without planning out anything. She had no tools available to break the ice, guess what she used? Her Bare Hands! Yes, she did not even have any gloves on. Imagine breaking the frozen ice with your hands, that too in winter. Even in the video, we can notice that the palms of her hands have gone red and they were probably hurting really bad but she did not stop. Meanwhile, the dog had started to tire out and was swimming no more. Would she be able to reach in time? Or at all?
