The Lion Gets Restless

The alpha seemed to lose interest in what was happening and got up to leave. The fox was left to the devices of the protective lioness and the hungry cubs while the lion started to walk away from the situation.

The Lion Returns

After walking around the area, making sure that his family was safe resting in the middle of the dirt path, the lion came back to the lioness and his cubs and settles down once again.

The Fight

The lion was frustrated with the ongoing events, he had had enough. He got up and started moving towards the injured fox, roaring wildly. The lioness knew what followed the roar and she sprang into action.

The Slap

The lioness sprang to her feet and swiped her claws at the lion for attacking the little fox that was under her protection. This slap set the lion straight and he went back to sit down near the cubs.

The Feast

The family suddenly started tearing into meat. From the sounds of that, it appeared that the injured fox had been given the sweet release of death. But the actual case was something completely different.

The Pride Comes In With Food

The fox still lay on the ground, safe and alive, while the lions feasted nearby. The food was brought in by the ‘Pride’ they were part of. While hunting for themselves they hadn’t forgotten about the caring family.
