Dr. Arkady Baulo of the Novosibirsk Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography shed light on the possible reason behind the presence of bowl on the site. According to him, the bowl came here with Asian merchants. In those days, the merchants used to export furs, hunting birds, and walrus tusks from the north. The merchants had to go through Kama and Ob regions for doing trade in the 7th and 8th centuries.
