The Red October Factory

The production of bikes continued in Leningrad for three years and then the production got shifted to a factory called Red October. So that is how the bike got its name Red October.  The primitive factory produced a limited-edition motorcycle that was made heavier than the previous models. The bike was taken in use for firefighting as it was equipped with a water pump.
