Here It Goes

Mason knew from the beginning that the statue had nothing to do with the Ming dynasty. The lady’s friend had misconstrued the statue and subsequently, misinformed her. You may not believe but that was one of the reasons why Mason got emotional.

Part Of Tang Dynasty

Mason finally revealed that the statue originally was from the Tang dynasty! He explained, “This dates from the golden period of Chinese art, which is called the Tang Dynasty, between the sixth century and the ninth century.” Apparently, the statue was way older than the lady had thought.
