Jessica had become the hero of the nation. The media had portrayed her as an American savior who continued to fight with the enemy till her gun ran out of bullets. She fought with the rival group with all her might and continued to battle hard until she got knocked down. For her valor, she was given Bronze Star, Purple Star and POW medals for her heroism.
