Lauren Tewes never had a smooth running career. She hit the bad phase of her career when she was ousted from the show The Love Boat after devoting her 9 years to it. During that time she was addicted to the cocaine and was undergoing rehab treatment. Thereon, she stopped getting offers and had to eke out living by doing lesser-known works like doing voice-overs and regional theatre.
