Hopeless
It was clear that the dogs were infected with mange but the doctors were still doubtful if they had other diseases. So, they did some test on them to find out. Fortunately, the dogs did not have parvo and distemper. So they did not delay in treating them for parasites. The doctors were hopeless about the survival of the puppies but they kept trying. Carson explains “They were diagnosed with mange, which did not surprise us since we could all see that from their appearance, They ran blood work on them all, and while the first set of blood work was not the best due to malnutrition and dehydration, they were negative for parvo and distemper. However, they were riddled with parasites and treatment started immediately.”
