A Misunderstanding?

William thought if they had some type of misunderstanding. This was odd, so, maybe they didn’t know that they were following the wrong person. If that was the case then William should inform them about it. There was one more thing to be noted here…

No Siren

Usually, when the cops are following someone and wants to stop that person for one or the other reason, they use the speakers of their car to ask that person to stop the car in the side of the road. Which wasn’t the case, here. They were just following him, no siren, no warnings, just following.

Flashing Lights

All this happened within a span of five minutes and that’s when the police car’s lights started to flash. This was the sign. They were behind William and wanted him to stop his car. This was it, he was supposed to pull over the car, therefore he did.

Pulled Over The Car

After seeing the police car’s lights flash, William looked for the right spot and stopped the car on his side of the road, where he saw enough space. The police car stopped too and it was time to know what was going on. William was thinking of all the possible things that the cops might say to him but what the cop was actually about to say cannot be expected by anyone at this moment…

A Moment’s Wait

When the cop’s car stopped, William was waiting in his car for the cop to turn up to his window. He noticed from his car’s rear view mirror that there was only one cop in the car and he got out of the car and started walking to his direction. He seemed like an old man, which meant he was an experienced cop. All of William’s ideas of what he might come across in the next couple of minutes were going to be proved completely wrong.

Confused

When the officer came and stood next to William, the soldier needed answers. He wanted to know why was he asked to pull over the car when he wasn’t doing anything wrong. Just to be sure that he was driving at the right speed he put his question in a nice form…
