On The Set Of Tomorrow Never Dies

The shooting for this legendary movie was not an easy thing for Brosnan. He got himself injured a number of times and some were so severe that it left a lifelong scar on his life. One incident occurred while filming Tomorrow Never Dies he got himself really hurt when a stuntman’s helmet struck him and split the sides of his face open. He had to undergo 8 stitches to get his face recovered. Till that time only one side of his face was featured. Though the wound has healed the scars of stitches can still be seen. Now, you might have understood why in most part of the movie he is showed half face. It was done intentionally to keep the wounded side away from the camera. We think how interesting would it have been for them but in reality, they suffer a lot in making their one scene perfect.

Demerits Of Being His Wife

Full-Figured Wife

Being wife of a big celebrity comes with lots of benefits and shortcomings. especially when you are the wife of Hollywood’s one of the sexiest actors. Keely Shaye Smith had to face the criticism after she showed up very bulky in the public. She had gained a huge mass and received flak from all the corner of the world. But the love of her husband for her did not go down an inch. He keeps expressing his love for her by putting public posts on his social networking sites. Even after the 15 years of their marriage, they adore each other like newly married It is difficult to believe that someone coming from the entertainment industry has so much loyalty towards his spouse. We don’t expect it often. Their love has only grown deeper and refreshing day by day.

Irish Dreamtime

Irish Dreamtime

In 1996, Pierce also tried his hand in the production by building his own production company called “Irish Dreamtime” in collaboration with his pal producer Beau St. Clair. The production house made its first movie in 1999, The Thomas Crown Affair with Pierce in the lead character. The movie was a success and was also appreciated by the critics. He did not use the double body to do his stunt, in fact, he did all of those action scenes on his own including that big boat crash scene. Not just that he went an extra mile and learned golf for a scene in which he hits a ball out of a sand trap. About eleven movies have been made under the production house till 2016. The whole burden of the production house fell on the shoulder of Pierce Brosnan when Beau St. Clair died at the age of 63.

Fire-eater

Fire-eater

Brosnan has worked as a fire-eater. Pierce was only 16 years old when he left his school. He began to learn fire-eating from a fire-eater who used to teach people this skills. His fire eating skills got noticed by an agent who later on signed a three-year contract with him. After the completion of his tenure there, he finally enrolled himself in the Drama School London to learn acting and decided to pursue his career in acting only. He got the chance to flaunt his fire-eating skills in a 1982 episode of Remington Steele, titled High Flying Steele. He also got black blisters while shooting for an episode of The Muppets. According to him, the prop guy convinced him to use white gas instead of kerosene. He blew that up and the flame instead of going out entered his mouth that caused blisters.

Pierce continued to shine even after his Bond films. He has given many successful films like Laws of Attraction, After the Sunset, and The Matador post his Bond Series. Talking about his most notable films it is impossible to not to talk about his remarkable performance in Mamma Mia. In the movie, he co-starred opposite of Meryl Streep. The movie was released in 2008. He even gave his voice to the musical. Though his voice could not create magic if not the turbulence among the audience. Except for his voice, the film got good reviews. This is not it, some of the critics went on to compare his voice with the sounds of various animals like a water buffalo, a donkey, and a wounded raccoon. Despite all the criticism surfacing on the ground, his appealing looks and acting compensated his every lacking.

Seraphim Falls

Seraphim Falls

In 2006, Brosnan did a movie called Seraphim Falls with Liam Neeson who also is an Irish. The movie was based on civil topics like violence, human survival, and war. The interesting part is that both the Irish actor played Americans whereas Xander Berkely an American himself played the Irish character. Brosnan and Neeson enjoyed playing the American character as they always had loved Western culture in their childhood and here they got a chance to play that. The film screened at Toronto International Film Festival that took place in the and was released in limited theatres in the U.S. that grossed $418,296 in domestic ticket sales. This movie is ironic in the sense that the actors swapped each other’s culture and yet played it so terrifically.
