Everything’s Fine

The time period between your engagement and wedding is very crucial and no one understands this better than the couple. Except for the behavior of the old woman, everything was going like a dream for them. They were going to enter a new relationship and so decided to buy a house together.

Dreamhouse

After days of searching, they finally found a house that stole their heart completely. It was small and perfect for them. They were going to start their family in that house and it fulfilled all their requirements. Tracey who had received nothing but flakes from Rick’s mother was very excited to show the house to her.

Calling Home

The couple moved in the house shortly after making the purchase. Everything was happening at a fast pace. As they were done with the paperwork, they decided to show the house to Gina. It was important for Rick to know what his Mom think about this decision.

The Day Of The Incident

The day in question began normally. Gina was going to have a look at the couple’s new house. No need to say, Tracey was very excited to show their new house to her future mother-in-law. But Gina did not think once before pouring water over Tracey’s enthusiasm. She had hardly taken a step into the house when she began criticizing her for a whole different thing.

She Hated Her Engagement Ring

The moment Gina saw the engagement ring on Tracey’s finger, she began criticizing it. According to her, the ring was too expensive. But Tracey who had by now learned to deal with Gina’s tantrums did not waste a second in explaining to her that the stone was not a diamond but moissanite. “It’s far too extravagant and there are CHILDREN STARVING IN AFRICA AND PEOPLE DIE FOR THESE ROCKS (it’s moissanite),” wrote the woman.

Too Good For Us?

Gina had no intention to stop. Just after a second, she started talking bad about their new house. Just like the ring, she found the house very expensive too. According to her, the house  “is an extravagant display of wealth and just ‘isn’t us.’” Tracey had answers to all her laments. She quickly replied that the house was a “townhouse” and did not cost much.
