The Vikings were fun loving people. They loved celebrating every now and then. Towns or villages of those time had a central hall in which the elders would meet to decide upon important matters. The hall served a dual purpose not only it was a discussion hall but also a dance hall during ceremonies and events. Be it a wedding, a day of commemoration or a spiritual fest they all would take place in this central hall. The Vikings on the days of celebration would load their system with beer or mead, prepare for food, and shake legs till the wee hours.
