This incident teaches us a lot simultaneously throwing light and making it imperative for us to think about some very grave issues regarding animals like the Indian elephant. Firstly, we all should understand the fact that the animals around us deserve the equal respect that we give to fellow beings. Cases of cruelty with pets is very common and needs to be stopped and this can only happen if we get more aware of our surroundings and understand the basic and essential fact that our existence is linked with the lives of animals and mother nature. Animals are capable of displaying vivid emotions similar to us which is an aspect that should be totally respected and thought of while dealing with them.
