Elephants

Elephants are the largest land mammal in the world. They are very social and loves to stay in the pack. With a strong body, they have a sharp mind too. They are also known for having an outstanding memory. Though the beast has a weak eyesight, that gets compensated by their strong sense of smell. Usually maintaining humble behavior they sometimes get really angry if see an intruder in their territory. It is no secret that the elephants are the largest beast in the world and so they weigh in tonnes. On an average, an elephant weighs between 6,000 to 13,000 pounds. As far as their height is concerned then they usually stand tall at 11 feet. The largest elephant recorded till now was an adult male African elephant with the weight of 24,000 pounds and height of 13 feet tall at the shoulder.
