The character Walden was introduced in the show as a divorcee from Bridget. Walden loved her so much and he even tried to commit suicide but Bridget found him to be immature. Later, Walden started dating Zoey and when Bridget finds this out, she comes back to Walden to take her back but he rejects her and offers for a divorce from her.
