The story of Lori Erica Ruff started in 2003 when she met and wedded Blake Ruff. He was the only heir of a well-established family in East Texas and the two first saw each other in a Bible study class. Even though she was reserved and evading questions about her past, Blake fell in love with her regardless and they got wedded in 2004. The only person in the audience was the preacher. Glancing back after all that has transpired, this goes to show how limited your knowledge of someone you ‘love’ can be.

Lori maintained that she was originally from Arizona and that both of her parents were no longer with her. She claimed that her father was an unsuccessful stockbroker, and declared that she had no other siblings. He didn’t realize at that point that Lori was being tight-lipped for a reason.

Changed Personality

After few days of marriage, Lori shifted into a completely different person. Her connection with Blake and his family became bitter as time went by since she was a bit too protective towards their daughter. For a family that had taken Lori in and accepted her as their own, there was clearly something off about her current behavior. She started exhibiting a couple of really weird tendencies that made everyone curious, such as leaving social gatherings to take naps and her fascination with the Ruff family history even though she had never disclosed her own history. She would continue being mum and give vague answers whenever the topic of her family popped up in any conversation.
