Investigation Begins

Blake was tasked with the tedious job of going through all the belongings that Lori had left home. Finally, the time had arrived when he would be able to open the lockbox that she had left hidden in the closet and had expressly instructed everyone not to open. Inside the lockbox, Blake discovered a number of things, all of which shocked him to his core and left him questioning everything he thought he knew about Lori and the life they shared. One of the records he discovered was a birth certificate and driver’s license carrying the name Becky Sue Turner and with Lisa’s face on the ID. Blake had no clue that she had been through a change of name prior to their marriage, but that wasn’t even the most surprising part. Also present in the locked box were documents that proved Lori had changed her name from Becky Sue Turner to Lori Erica Kennedy, which was indeed her maiden name from the time before she was wedded to Blake. There were also countless notes that apparently had random scribbles on them, including “North Hollywood Police,” “402 months,” and “Ben Perkins.”
