Inspiring

Robert went on saying that he wasn’t the only one who inspired the kids but the kids inspired him too. Inspired to look around more and understand other people. The kids made his day and as their kind gesture towards the soldier won his heart, he gave them one advice that they’ll always remember.

Advice

Robert told that they were brothers with a wonderful upbringing and that is reflected in their personality he said, “two good kids and they’ve got good hearts.” He advised them, “when you’re older and you’re in a position to help someone out — don’t pass it up.”

Army Creed

“I think I can best sum things up as to why I did it because of a creed I live up to every day — the Ranger Creed. One line in the creed encapsulates I think why I helped, ‘Never shall I fail my comrades.’ [The boys] were my comrades … It was my DUTY to help them!” tells the ranger.

Humbled By The Experience

“I’m humbled by the praise and don’t need it. I am a believer that we live in the best country in the world with the best people and that acts of kindness happen every day,” said the soldier. If the story of Robert inspired you too then do share it with your friends and spread the good vibes!
