They were names “Cullen” and “Romulus”

The owners decided to name them ‘Cullen’ and ‘Romulus’. After they posted about this miraculous delivery It was only a matter of time before it absolutely viral. And that’s how these two beautiful pups came to be known as the first ever identical twin puppies. In fact, the video of their birth has been uploaded to Youtube and so far it has gained millions of views.

Joone’s response to the doubts

As this video was gaining popularity some people raised the question if they really were the first ever case of monozygotic pups? To which Joone responded with this statement, “There have been rumors about twins in dogs before. We just happened to be lucky enough to be able to confirm it genetically. Believe it or not, the only common examples of animals that frequently give birth to identical twins are humans or 9-banded armadillos. And for now, Cullen and Romulus remain the only confirmed case of identical twin pups on the planet.”
