All About Trust

The footage shows Danielle approaching the two wolf siblings Kekoa and Sakara. In the snow-laden area, the video shows Danielle as she leans down and gets face-to-face with the wolves. Sakara then starts sniffing her face and get closer.

Wolf Kisses

After Kekoa sees Sakara kissing Danielle, he wants in on the action and starts to imitate her as well. Kekoa soon does the unthinkable and starts to kiss and lick Danielle on her face. Danielle returns the favor by petting him and hugging him.

Surrendering

Soon Kekoa settles down and lays on his back. Danielle showers him with love and pets his belly. These two look like a human and a dog playing around. It is easy to forget that Kekoa is a wolf. The videographer starts talking and points out an interesting observation.

The Observation

“And Danielle you’re an average sized person,” the videographer explains, stating that Kekoa is indeed a huge wolf. Kekoa continues to look happy and thrilled to play with Danielle. The sanctuary, however, had a clear message regarding this video.

Sweet Greetings

Kekoa “loves to greet visitors with wolf kisses,” writes the sanctuary on their website. “Since he was raised by people and bottle fed from the time he was born, he is very well socialized, meaning he enjoys the company of people,” shelter staff Smith further stated.

Not Domesticated

“This is not the same as domesticated or tame,” Smith explained on. “He is still a ‘wild’ animal, and he does tend to show it when he is around his sister. A wolf in the wild would not act this way.” However, the video has gone viral and tons of people have seen it.
