In Bad Shape

Once he arrived at the shelter home, doctors revealed that a larger animal must have attacked BenBen, which could be the reason behind his crushed spine. He also had many cuts and tears on his body. Things were going bad to worse for the poor feline.

Life’s Cruelty

BenBen was also suffering from facial damage and excess skin, which could be seen clearly on his face. His facial expression says it all. Albeit it was a facial deformity, this poor little feline had nothing to be happy about. Life was inevitably being cruel to BenBen.

 His End Was Near

Over the course of the time, BenBen’s health condition plummeted. He was not eating anything and he stopped taking liquid as well. He was losing his will. BenBen knew that his end time was near and the staff of the shelter home felt the same.

No Hope For Survival

It seemed like BenBen had accepted his present health condition and he had no feeling inside him to live anymore. The shelter vet explained that the chances of BenBen walking again were almost zero percent and it was important to keep him on pain medications. Keeping this in mind, the shelter decided to euthanize him.

An Uncertain Savior

After coming to know about BenBen through a friend, one woman decided that she would not let BenBen die without love. She told her partner about the suffering cat and he agreed that they should do everything to save the feline.

The Race Against Time

As the time was running out, the couple, without wasting any minute decided to adopt BenBen. They had to make this real quick. They haven’t seen Benben yet, but they were definitely sure that they would get BenBen before his euthanization.
