The 2015’s spring was almost on its way when Alyssa and Will gifted themselves a precious 37′ school bus which they were planning to bring back to life to take it on roads again. The couple paid $5,500 for the 2001 GMC/Blue Bird which was in perfect condition to meet the couple’s requirements. However, buying the bus wasn’t enough, they were about to grant it a complete makeover. The priority was something else for two at that time.
How Was It?
The bus was exactly how they expected it to be, most of the seats were removed and it had enough space for storing stuff. This is how the bus looked from the inside at first and required a lot of reworking but Alyssa and Will were up for all the challenges to bring out the best of this bus. The vision, they’d for it would require manpower as well as willingness.
Target Race
Will and Alyssa wanted to make the bus running with everything including the insurance as they wanted to compete in a 50km race that was to be held in Washington. So, their target date was June 18th. Both of them were trying hard to finish the work before the decided date, however, it seemed quite impossible at one point.
