Even though there are plenty of photos of Grand Central Terminal, this is a special one. The terminal looked like this back in 1929. There were not as many tall buildings in its surroundings, in New York City, as there are now. That is why the sun still shone inside the terminal. That does not occur anymore.

On the right-hand side of this picture, you can see Al Capone as he attended a football match. The game took place in Evanston, Illinois, USA, on October 10, 1931. The two teams that participated in the game were Notre Dame and Northwestern.

Hitler and Eva – 1937

Adolph Hitler is a name known by most people due to his critical role in World War II. Something that most people may not know about the man is that he actually had a relationship with a woman called Eva Braun. Only after both their deaths was this relationship known to the general public. In the picture, taken in 1937, we can see both Eva and Adolph having tea. Eva joined Hitler in his bunker as the War ended. The couple got married and committed suicide soon after.
