Mocking Savannah
What he wrote was something that was nasty and petty. He wrote on the text message, “sitting next to smelly fatty.” Savannah could not hold back her emotions and so she began to cry. She quickly faced the window as a stream of tears fell down her cheeks. She was so hurt because it was evident that the guy just wanted to insult her. Just then, somebody tapped the old guy’s shoulder.
What A Hero
So when the stranger from the back tapped on the old man’s shoulder, he did not respond at first. He then when he vigorously tapped on his shoulder, he finally turned back. As the old man looked to see who this person was, he was informed, “I need to speak to you. NOW.” The old man seemed confused but nonetheless followed the man who called him.
A Heroic Act
And the two argued for a little bit right away. In a few minutes, Chase Irwin told the old man that his seat would have to be switched. Even though the old man seemed to be in shocked he cooperated with Chase anyhow. After he sat, Chase could see that Savannah was still crying. This was the time that Chase did something truly heroic.
A Comfy Ride
After this whole incident, the old man was sent away. And so, Chase and Savannah sat beside each other on the plane and sparked up a chat on the plane ride. He was the opposite of the old man. Chase was so kind and easy to talk to. She was extremely grateful for what he had done for her. The only thing she could fish out was his name, profession, and that he had a kid just like herself.
Spotting Him
And the two had a pleasant flight sitting together. As soon as the plane landed, Savannah could not contain her happiness. She wanted to share her story with her social media friends but could not locate Chase on social media. She wrote a heartfelt Facebook post and urged her friends repost until Chase was found. After a while, she got a reply from Chase himself.
