Malcolm McDowell- Then
Malcolm McDowell did not have the best start in life, as it was punctuated with familial issues. To pursue his love for acting, he attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. He landed his first role in 1967’s Poor Cow, but things really started looking up for him when he starred in 1971’s film A Clockwork Orange. With the fame and success that followed, he fell into drug and alcohol abuse. This took its toll on McDowell, and roles became far and few for the actor.
