No Interest In Peace

The US Army wasn’t looking for peace and on December 26, 1862, 38 Dakota men, in which White Dog was also present, were hanged after the army defeated the Dakota warriors. According to the historians, this act of execution was the biggest and cruelest in the history of America. The remaining people from the tribe were sent to concentration camps, and all of their belongings and possessions were destroyed but the Catlinite peace pipe survived.
