Polish Army

Since the pictures were quite old and were in black and white color, decoding them became difficult. The very first clue to knowing the history and origin of this uniform and the photos was the photo itself. The uniform in the photographs was of some military? But which military was a question? Dabros asked her fellow colleagues to help her in decoding the military uniform. It came to be known as the Polish Army’s Military Uniform. Since the Military was decoded, now the next step was finding the man in that military.

Lucas Kulczycki

Dabros undertook every possible investigation possible. She searched online about the Polish Army, their military camps and any past records of the soldiers if any. Just a little curiosity and some search gave Dabros the awaited answers. Her investigation paid off. The man in the pictures was a medical officer in the Polish Army named Lucas Kulczycki. The military officer shifted to Manitoba and did not take his uniform along.

Why was Dabros this eager to know about this soldier and his whereabouts?

Dabros continued with her findings and soon discovered that Kulczycki shifted from Manitoba to the United States for pursuing with his medical career and was no longer serving in the army. Kulczycki mastered the study of cystic fibrosis while he was in Washington. However, he also spent some part of his life in Boston. And then came the most important question about the true owner of this uniform…

Is He Alive?

Dabros knew that the majority of the donations the museum receives belonged to those who were no longer alive. But there are a few things who belonged to those who were alive and very much breathing. She wanted to know whether the real owner that is the officer Lucas Kulczycki was alive or not so that he could furnish her more about the details of this masterpiece? Dabros further came to know that the man in photos was now a renowned pediatrician. But how will she locate him?
