Cofield had no slightest idea of what was going to be the next move. She got her post go viral as many people were reposting it. Her profile was being stalked by people and opinions on her actions were being made. Had she been a little more concerned, she would have predicted the results as well. Something huge was on her way, which affected somebody’s life.

Stood Up And Spoke

As the post was being so viral, the man, besides whom the whole social media was focussing on, decided to stand up and explain untold things. Simon Childs, the very person was a 21-year-old McDonald’s employee and was taking a break between the working shifts at the fast-food chain. Before going back to work, he preferred resting which was trivial stuff but somehow bothered the lady.

Untold Story

That was not an end to the Childs’ story. He was homeless, for he could not afford to have a house of his own. The pay, he used to get from the restaurant, could not cover the rents, hence was left with no shelter. Moreover, his circumstances had changed dramatically in recent months and the changes had been so seismic that they had a significant impact on his finances and the support available.

The Little One

Childs had become a father recently. This resulted in the formulation of financial strain. The responsibility of having a young son to care needs financial stability for which he was in dearth. He was unable to get through the burden on his wages hence was forced into the desperate situation of catching whatever sleep he could while at work so that he could stay awake for his little one during nights.

A Great Loss

Financial condition was not the only thing that stressed this young father, however, major events that took place simultaneously made his life more stressful. The McDonald’s employee, who became a young father, had also recently lost his mother. He, not only financially but emotionally unstable. The stage of being lonely and being responsible ran parallel with his life, hence, he was trying to cope up with it.

All Ears

In June 2019, Childs on Atlanta’s WSB-TV stated, “I’ve been going through a hard time with my mom passing”. No matter how old a child turns, he or she would always be a kid to their parents. Childs was so attached to his mother that he could not resist his emotions and let them flow. He expressed his loss of his mother who used to be his support system and best advisor.
