At first, he thought it to be some insignificant thing. But his curious nature forced him to examine it a little further. He dug some of the mud out but nothing came to his hand. There was something settled deep inside the ground. Only time was going to tell whether it was a treasure, an insignificant thing or something beyond his imagination.
Original Plans For His House
It started just like an adventurous movie. One day Sims stumbled upon something hard on the ground of his backyard and then he investigates further only to get nothing. Instead of accepting the failure, the man decided to resort to another option. He turned towards the ‘city records’ to find out a bit more about the house. He had made the right decision. What the documents showed him was completely unbelievable and intriguing both at the same time.
Here It Goes
The “city records” had documented the original plans of the house. He read the plans and learned a new thing that he did not know before about his house. While scanning the document he noticed a never seen spot. On further inspection, the man realized that something was buried in his backyard. His curiosity increased on the sight of it and he decided to find out. Though it was confirmed that there was something buried deep down his backyard, he still did not know the exact point. Does this mean he would have to dig the entire area? Well, he soon came up with a solution.
X-The Spot
He took help of metal detector expert in determining the very spot. Looking for the spot under the excruciating sun was not an easy task. The detectors covered the whole backyard and finally decided upon the location. The spot was marked with two Xs. As the picture shows both the signs were placed next to each other. The first obstacle was tackled now it was time to go ahead with the mission. He went inside to get his digging tools.
Was It Buried Treasure?
Before learning about the backyard secret, Sims had always felt something strange about his house. There had been a chain of odd events that had occurred in his house in past. At that time he did not pay much attention to that but after the revelation, his doubts began to grow. He brought his tools from outside and began to dig.
Digging
With many doubts in his mind, the man began digging the ground with his shovel. The hole was deepening minute by minute but nothing came out. Sims under the scorching heat was drenched with the sweat but his curiosity to find the truth was too strong to give up. Despite scorching heat and tiredness, he continued digging. It was then his shovel hit a metal thing. However, what actually was that still not clear as the object was all covered with mud. Now his curiosity increased manifold and he decided to go further with his plan.
