The authorities had evidence of it on the final recordings and apparently, even after knowing the bad weather ahead, they decided to fly due to the festival pressure on them and to meet the deadlines. So, they were held responsible for this crash and a few weeks later the LANSA airlines’ license to operate was canceled.
