Bethany has never slowed down since the attack. Her adventurous spirit and craving for adrenaline often take her outside her hometown of Hawaii. And on March 2013, she took part in a women-only car race with no phones in Morocco for awareness on hereditary cancer risk. She also joined in the show ‘The Amazing Race’. Bethany gained a lot of recognition for what happened to her but garnered equal amount of recognition for her roles as an unstoppable surfer.
