St. Augustine Monster

Throughout history, we have had so many discoveries of sea monsters all around the world. Here we have one such case. This monster here was discovered back in 1896 on the shores of St. Augustine, Florida. This creature does not look like any other animal that has ever been discovered and was truly something to talk about back then. And obviously, many speculations followed the creature due to its mysterious features and its massive size as well. The “monster” was actually a whopping 18 ft. long and even weighed an incredible 5 tons! Many scientists have claimed that this was a giant squid, while there were others who argued that this was actually an octopus. Many tests were run on this creature and to everyone’s shock, the results revealed that it mostly resembled a sperm whale!

Roch Ness Monster

There are many mysteries that surround the English waters. As we have already read above, many unknown creatures have been discovered in the waters in and around England. We have all heard of the Scottish Loch Ness Monster, right? But have you ever heard of the English version of this monster? The name given to the English version of this monster is actually the Roch Ness Monster. The monster would have been truly fearsome when they discovered it because of its appearance alone. The Roch Ness monster was actually 5 ft. long with a mouth that is filled with sharp teeth. After the locals discovered it, many people were convinced that there was indeed a creature that was residing in Rochdale, England. The authorities later revealed that it was in fact, a large pike!

The Sakhalin Monster

Looking at the Sakhalin Monster, it is no surprise that many people were extremely terrified of it. This creature actually had hair on its body! It was found by Russian soldiers. It was a 20 ft. long carcass back in 2006 on Sakhalin Island. It obviously gave them the fright of their lives. This monster was filled with hair and is an exception to other sea creatures who mostly lack hair. The locals claim that this originated from a Kami, a creature that lives beneath the island.

Mexican Long Beast

This washed up on the shores of Acapulco, Mexico, and as evident in the image, it is absolutely huge. The creature seems to have decayed but the authorities revealed that it had not been dead for too long. The authorities actually made an official statement where they said, “We have no idea what type of animal this is, but I do know that it does not smell bad or have a fetid aroma.” Creepy!

Are you tired of all the strange sea-creature? Ok, here is another case that makes  to the list of unbelievable things that washed up on the shores. Back in 2012, the locals living in Kodiak, Alaska got lucky when a cargo shipment sank and the sports-themed fly swatters that it carried washed up on their beaches. These fly swatters were from several teams, including both professional and collegiate.

Doritos?!

This would be the dream of many people who are fans of junk food. It happened in 2006, where thousands of bags of Doritos chips were found on the beach of Outer Banks in North Carolina. A cargo container overturned and resulted in these chips floating about, eventually reaching these shores! Many beach-goers were fans of these chips and very soon the beach was as clean as before as the people quickly took the chips for themselves.
