Leonardo is an American film producer, actor, and environmental activist. DiCaprio was born in Los Angeles. He has racial traits of Italian and German descent through his father. He is also half Russian as his grandparents are of Russian ancestry. He is very fluent in the Italian and German language as well. Leonardo started his career by working in ‘Critters 3′(1991). He appeared in lead roles in movies such as ‘Romeo Juliet(1996)’ and ‘The Basketball Diaries’ which swept a great success. His phenomenal acting also garnered numerous awards like Screen Actors Guild Award and Academy Award. He has also raised voice for climatic issues.
