In 2013, she performed the lead role in romantic movie ‘Baggage Claim’ and in the action film 2 Guns. In 2017, she starred in series ‘Somewhere Between’ in which she played the character of a mother. She got married to Robin Thicke and gave birth to a child, Julian Fuego in 2010. When we talk about her heritage she dislikes being called biracial. Paula Patton stated in an interview, “I find (the term) biracial offensive, it’s a way for people to separate themselves from African-Americans, a way of saying I’m better than that. I’m Black because that’s the way the worlds sees me. People aren’t calling Obama biracial. Most people think there’s a Black president.”
