Theodore Edward Coneys
By September 1941, Theodore Edward Coneys was basically homeless, so he decided to give a visit to his friend names Peter. Peter’s wife had a hip surgery so they were not home. Coneys was a small statured man so he could get inside an attic door that would be too small for a typical person to enter. He stayed int he attic and would come out whenever there was no one home. One day, he came out thinking he was alone. Then he attacked Peters and pistol-whipped the 73-year-old man to death. No one knew who did this as the house was locked from inside. After a series of strange occurrences, on July 30, 1942, Coneys face was finally caught and was arrested and convicted of murder. He passed away on May 16, 1967, in a prison hospital.
