Hurting Its Own Self
If it was a slightly bigger elephant it would definitely have rooted out the tree it was tethered to. The elephant was probably more freaked out than angry at being separated from its herd and being left to the care of humans. It was continuously trying to break free from the rope it was tied with and circling around the area it could possibly cover in confinement. However, all the baby elephant was doing was hurting its own neck. The rangers had to find a way to calm the baby elephant down and they finally found something to quieten it.
