Arrangements

Laura Van Ryn was in her upper-class when an unfortunate incident took place. She was a very friendly girl who shared a very good bond with her classmates and other people. The 22-year-old girl was very kind and warm by heart. That is why she would participate in all activity that included social welfare. When she heard about the trip that was to Fort Wayne for help organizing a scholarship banquet, she could not resist. Now as she had enlisted her name, she asked her friends and acquaintances if any of them wanted to partake in the altruistic act. However, none of them showed their interest. So, the group that was going to Fort Wayne had only nine people. Finally, came the day that was going to change the fate of many people!

A Short Trip To Fort Wayne

The day in question was April 26, 2006. A group of students and staff that consisted of nine people headed towards the Fort Wayne in a van. The destiny was only an hour away from the school. As expected they reached the fort in just an hour and began helping the organizers in arranging the scholarship banquet that was about to take place the very next day. They kept working all day and thought of returning back to school as the dark started sprawling its wings.

Attracting Condolences

The accident had put the Taylor University under the limelight. No doubt the case reached many ears and whoever happened to know about the incident showed their support for the family. Though the family was grieving but were relieved that at least their daughter was alive. They still had the hope even if it was fading gradually.

Telling Her Parents

Suddenly a shaking voice came from the other side. The man asked him not to joke about this. Don had already prepared himself for this answer. Nevertheless, he kept on reiterating and the man finally believed. The receiver weepingly asked about her whereabouts. It was a strange moment for both of them. He told her father all the requisite details.

The Mistaken Identity

So how did it all happen? Why Whitney was mistaken for her? The two looked a lot similar in terms of physical appearance. Both of them had golden colored hair and quite similar built. That is why even in college people would get confused between the two. No need to mention both the girls were there in the van when the incident took place.
