Parking Spot

Terri gathered all her strength and went back to lock the doors she left open in urgency. Her heart was pounding like anything and her ears could hear his heartbeats saying “do it fast.” There was pin drop silence around her and the only thing which she could hear other than her heartbeats was a siren that wouldn’t have reached to her in time if some misfortune happened to her. Soon she’ll regret her decision of going back to the building.

She Forgot Something More

The cold breeze was making her ears and skin go numb while she was closing the doors. Terri was shivering because of the sweat and cold breeze. She almost locked the door but realized that she also forgot to set up the security alarm. Now she had to go inside the building which was like entering an abandoned house alone. Even she knew every inch of the building she was feeling out of the place. The more she wanted to leave the place more she got late. Did she really hear something? Or it was her mind playing games?

Going In Again

Terri went inside to set up the security alarm and heard something that spooked her to the core. The corridor was empty but still, she felt like somebody is watching her from the distanced pillar at the end of the corridor. She was so afraid that her voice wasn’t coming out of her mouth, gasping for air she clutched her bag and ran towards the parking spot. She made sure that she locks the door. One eye in the front and one looking on her shoulder to see if somebody was following her she was covering the distance between the building and the parking which wasn’t much but today felt like miles. The parking lot was empty except her car, but little she knew, there was somebody else.

Terri could see her car but there was this mystery car that alarmed her. Whose car is that? She couldn’t recognize the car which she thought might be of someone from work, but who is it? She didn’t see anybody leaving except her, then she thought about the strange footsteps she heard inside the building. She wasn’t ready to meet her fate like this which would change her life forever.
