Yemayá

Chila’s message was not for her birth mother but for the orisha known as Yemayá.  She was considered as the mother of all creations and the source of all other deities. She is somehow also connected with the Virgin Mary. Chila threw this bottle in the sea as Yemayá was the mother of water, and was the protector of women.

 An Effort

Alfredo had been closely listening to Chila’s tunes and music since then. He even tried to bring her to Florida and organize another music concert or album for her which could probably gain her popularity in the United States. He was even ready to help her financially. Would this make her long-lasting dreams come true?

Firming The Belief

Chila and Alfredo in their first conversation shared their belief in the same religion. Alfredo said to her, ” the virgin put this letter in my hand for a reason,” While Chila reciprocated with the same feeling and said, “It’s very in touch with the virgin. There was a hurricane — a huge one — and still, the bottle made it. I think it’s a story about faith.”

No Evidence

However, the present day there aren’t any clues or evidence that could show that Chila performed in the United States. There are no ties which could show that she achieved what she dreamt off and Alfredo playing a role in it. Quite strange but this is the case. Another interesting thing is…

Nikki And Snow

Nikki and Allen expressed their happiness on finding Chila. They in an interview said, “I think it’s pretty incredible, you know? You find something like this, and nine times out of 10 you’re never going to know who it is, And you’re just going to either read it, throw it back, or show some friends. But we found the person. We were able to contact her.”

Keeping The Faith

It is said that at his restaurant Alfredo has a statue of the Virgin of Charity. And on the same wall, he has even framed the letter that Chila had thrown away in a glass bottle. He believes that there must definitely a reason that the letter was brought to him. It was all about faith…
