Parton has earned enough money to give back to charity. She works with the American Red Cross and several HIV/AIDS-related charities. In 2006, she donated $500,000 for building a $90-million hospital in Sevierville in Dr. Robert F. Thomas’s name. He was the doctor who delivered her. She even organized a concert for this cause ,where 8,000 people were in attendance. She also let PETA use her music as well.
