And so, for Gonsalves, this would have been one of the most memorable days ever. She ended up getting VIP tickets to Ellen’s 60th birthday show and the best surprise she could ever want. She ended up getting an unexpected emotional reunion with her deployed lover. Copeland’s effort to keep his woman happy while he was away was as sweet as the whole episode. It made the audience joyfully tearful and also the viewers at home had something to smile about.
