Fallout Shelter
So why build a fallout shelter in the first place and what could you benefit from it? A fallout shelter was specially designed in the 60s so as to protect people from the harmful radioactive fallout that a nuclear bomb produces. The Cold War made so many families paranoid and hence these shelters were very popular. When a nuclear bomb is dropped, it then releases debris or fallout that is radioactive in nature and can cause severe harm to all living beings. Hence it was imperative to some families that they kept their safety a priority instead of just waiting for a nuclear fallout to take place.
