Final Conclusion

Aubrey often witnessed his parents fighting but never questioned them. He was busy in his school life and later on with his friends. When he was about 15 years old, one day his parents thought that could do it no more and called their marriage quits.

Divorced

In 2016, Aubrey’s parents divorced. They were no more willing to give their wedding a second chance. However, the couple did not see what this divorce agreement was bringing along. The kind of impact it had on Aubrey’s young mind would be something they would soon come to know.

A Shift

As his parents divorced, he and his mom shifted to Spalding County, Georgia. This town was a little far from his childhood home. This shift wasn’t an easy one for Aubrey. He was in his teenage years and it was the age he was going under the pubertal changes. Adapting to the new environment was a challenging thing for him. Already he was dealing with all this and then his parents got into a custody battle.

Custody Battle

Soon after the divorce, Aubrey found his parents fighting in the court over his custody. Both wanted Aubrey to stay with them. After arguing a lot, a decision was made and Michael was handed over Aubrey’s custody. This meant that now Aubrey will have to go to Jones County where his father was residing.

Will this be an easy one for the child or would this lead to something which none ever wished?

His Future

Aubrey had recently shifted to the new school at Spalding County. He had just started to enjoy with his new friends and now asking him to change his school again was not good for the child. Thus, everyone thought it was better if the child completes his schooling in the same school. However, it was a difficult task to accomplish but for Aubrey this was right. Was it really right as what happened next tells an altogether difficult story?

Rising Difficulties

To make sure that Aubrey doesn’t miss school and is always on time, Michael will drive all the way from Jones County to Spalding County, an hour drive. This was a really tiring and time-consuming act. Michael even asked Aubrey to cut down on his social activities as they needed to go back home as well after traveling for an hour yet again. And in this hurry, once Aubrey ended up in an act which is called “Minor accident”.
