It’s All About Egypt
Ask any amateur archeologist about that one place that he wants to explore, we bet it would be Egypt. But why is that? It is because of the fact that this place is filled with notable historical discoveries. In the past, the archeologists have unearthed treasures in the pyramids and examined tombs like King Tut. King Tut’s tomb is known as the most incredible piece of history that has ever been discovered. But this discovery in Alexandria even surpassed King Tut’s tomb.
King Tut’s Tomb
A team led by Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922 that made news all over the world. When Howard and his team started the exploration they found exotic treasure, including Tutankhamun’s death mask, which is considered as an icon. Carter wrote his experience in his diary, “As one’s eyes became accustomed to the glimmer of light, the interior of the chamber gradually loomed before one, with its strange and wonderful medley of extraordinary and beautiful objects heaped upon one another.”
Amazing Alexandria City
The city of Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great who connected it Greece to the Nile Valley in Egypt. In the past, this city was packed with ships, traders, and merchants that came to this city from all over the world. You can imagine the number of surprises this place holds. One of the surprises was discovered recently that made the city of Alexandria the most sought place for archeologists. Who could have thought that these construction workers would discover something this big?

As we told you, the city of Alexandria was filled with ships, traders, and merchants in the past. But today, this place looks very much different from what it was. This city is jam-packed with infrastructure, businesses, and huge apartments that attracts businessmen and people from all around the globe. This modern city was hiding something in its heart that was discovered recently only to amaze the world.
What Came After The Discovery?
The construction workers were asked by the owner of the building to dig up the foundation so that he could build something else on the land. The owner left the construction site as he had some other work to attend. The construction crew began the digging and after hours they stopped with their eyes and mouths wide open in amazement.
